Dr. McIntyre is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy with over 20 years of experience providing play-based, relationship-centered services. She earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University, completing doctoral research in sensory integration and culturally relevant healthcare practices. She also holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California.
Dr. McIntyre is board certified by the American Hippotherapy Association, incorporating equine movement into comprehensive treatment plans, and is a certified SOS-based feeding therapist. Her advanced training includes visual-vestibular integration and the use of physical agents and modalities. She specializes in neuroaffirming services and has a passion for identifying and addressing often-overlooked co-occurring challenges in the neurodivergent community.
As an Autistic, ADHD, and Dyslexic adult, Dr. McIntyre embodies the “nothing about us without us” movement, bringing lived experience and professional expertise together to support children and families. She is the founder and owner of GroWild Boutique Playroom and Neurodiversity Community Center, and is dedicated to creating inclusive, affirming spaces where individuals can grow, connect, and thrive.
When not at GroWild Dr. McIntyre enjoy time with her family at their small farm. Dr. McIntyre is a life long equestrian, learner, and student of the land.
